Johnston Larry

The family announces with great sadness the passing of Larry on Tuesday November 7th, 2017 at the age of 55 years. Beloved husband of Linda Brown. Loving father of Mitchel Johnston, Ashley (James) Scott, Alyssa Brown ( Matt Bechard). Cherished grandfather of Bella, Thomas, Linda, Bruce, Evan, and Scarlett. He leaves behind his siblings Ron , Harold (Tracy), Rick (Sheila), Patricia (John) Johnson, John, Clinton, Gordon, Sylvia (Tony) Makuch, Robert (Bruce Johnson), and Ebony Tay (Amy Marshall).

Larry was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Terttu Johnston.

He worked most of his career at Northern College as a security guard where he was known as " papa res". He loved to make sure all the residents and students were safe.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, November 18th from 6-9pm at the Social Venue, 27 Maple St. South, Timmins.

In honour of Larry, we ask that you keep "living, loving, learning everyday", just as he did.
