Joseph George Obituary

The family announces with sadness the passing of their father George at Timmins and District Hospital on Friday November 17th, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Joyce. Loving father of the late Blake, Valarie, Carole (Jim), Susan (Ted) Sharon, David, and Tara. He will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He worked for many years as a welder in the bicycle manufacturing industry. George was an avid fisherman and gardener, but above all he loved his family.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday November 23rd, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Stinson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the Memorial Service at Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, SOUTH PORCUPINE, (705)235-2900
