Aline (NEE Rainville) Magnan 

March 17th,1933 to June 15th, 2023 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Aline on June 15, 2023, at the Anson General Hospital at the age of ninety surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her parents Leo and Marie Anna (Chartrand) Rainville, her brothers Lionel and Gerald, sister Jeannine, first husband Florent Alain, second husband Jacques Magnan and long-time companion Harold Sather. Also predeceased by her sons Guy and Andre Magnan and Lorraine Michaud (survived by Jerry). She will be sadly missed by her loving brother Laurent. Loving mother of Carole Anderson, Gerald (Bridgette), Jackie (Robert), Roland (Susan), Danny, Roseanne Mongrain (Jim), Jean-Guy (Roxanne). She also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Aline was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge in South Porcupine and genuinely enjoyed her time there catering for members and guests. One of her fondest memories was vegetable gardening as well has preparing meals for family and friends. The family wishes to thank Doctor Zhou & Doctor Loubani and the Anson General Hospital staff for the care and guidance they provided. Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 on Wednesday June 21st, 2023, at Stinson Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday June 21st, 2023, at Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N 1H0 (705)235-2900. Interment will take place at Tisdale Cemetery following the Memorial Service.
