Anneliese (Anne, Annie) Pitt

Anneliese Möwis Pitt who passed away at the Timmins District Hospital on June 12, 2020. Anne was born in Germany in 1929. She leaves behind her sons Peter Spurdza (Sherry Bradette), David Stewart (alias Wilfred Möwis) (Jamie York), her grandchildren Cheryl Mandeville, Joel, and David Castonguay, Melinda Stewart, Tammy Knox and great-grandchildren Devon, Samantha, and Aolani.

Anneliese will profoundly be missed by her endearing friend Ghislaine Raymond. Anneliese’s long-lasting wish was to have her early life story told in a book. Anne blissfully holds her book, “A Living Nightmare”, of which she received two days prior to her passing.

A genuine thank you to the staff at Timmins District Hospital for their care and compassion during Anne’s long convalescence.

At Anneliese’s request, there will be no celebration of life.

A memorial donation to the Spruce Hill Retirement home through Stinson Funeral Home would be appreciated.
