In memory of Dennis Davis
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Lloyd Davis on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, a few days before his 67th birthday.
Dear husband to Chris and father to Chessa Davis (Manny), Trina (Pete) Beaucage and Lisa (Chad) Lilko. Much loved Grandpa to Caleb(late), Owen, Lucas, Benjamin, Liam, Hudson, Griffin, Dawson, Joshua, and Jonah.
Also left to mourn Dennis are his sisters Doris and Shirley (Art) Lefebvre, sisters-in-law Donna, Cathy and Becky and many special nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his beloved grandson Caleb, who held a special place in his heart. By his parents Lloyd and Irene Davis, his father and mother in-law Wally and Jean Clement, his brother Curt, sister Audrey and his nephew Ken.
Dennis was a barber in South Porcupine for over 45 years and made many great connections with his loyal clientele; they meant so much to him.
Dennis was always able to provide an ear to listen and share some words of wisdom over coffee, a beer or a hair cut.
His zest for life was felt by all, sharing many passions including playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, hunting and watching his grandsons play hockey.
Dennis knew the value of hard work and play and did both so well. He could always be counted on if someone needed help.
Dennis made special relationships with his sons-in -law and will be greatly missed by Chad, Pete and Gord for his love, guidance and friendship.
Dennis cherished his friendship with life long friend Barry Basso.
A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses in the emergency and icu departments at Timmins and District Hospital and to the icu at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion provided to Dennis.
Donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N1H0 (705)235-2900 www.stinsonfuneralhome.net
