Dorothea Evelyn (Pearce) Moreau

It is with great sorrow to announce the unexpected passing of Dorothea Evelyn Pearce Moreau(1926-2021)at Timmins and District Hospital on March 10/2021.She was predeceased by her husband Euclide Moreau in 1973 and her son Edward(Irma) in 2016. Dorothea is survived by her children Lorenzo Moreau(Rennie),Rollanda(Cookie)Stosur(best friend and companion Joe Lizotte),Pamela Tompkins(Ralph),Lorraine Brazeau(Emile),Madeline Mathieu(Blair),Catherine Larsen(Ricky),Thomas Moreau(Christine),Jo-Anne Bougie(Norman)Therese (Terry) Allard(Maurice),and David Moreau(Pam).Also survived by her grandchildren David Brazeau(Cindy),Mark Brazeau,Tammy Brazeau,James Tompkins(Kristina),Dan Tompkins(Corry),Jennifer Wills,Ryan Wills(Kristen),Amber Pascall (Derrick),Matthew Laface,(Nancy), Cory Laface(Anik),Victor Laface Jr.(Dominique) Michael Larsen, Kim Row(Vaughn), Amanda Roy, Tammy Lynn Roy, Shaun Bougie(Stephanie),Melissa McGinn(Sam),Gaetan Allard(Cindy),Chantal Gravel(Chris),Marie Fortier(Brian),Sabrina Ecker(Robert),Christopher(Abby) and Jared Moreau. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her furry ‘son’ Barney-she adopted him from the Humane Society a few years ago. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother to all of her family and extended family Wanda and Louis Raymond. She was skilled in many crafts and a very computer savvy lady-if you had a problem figuring out something she would promptly reply- “Go to YouTube ” All of our family would like to thank the nursing staff ,Dr.Guirion,Dr.Houston and social worker-Donna for Mom’s care and support during her short time in TADH. Plans for her celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Timmins Humane Society or TADH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
