Zimmer, Eunice “Louise”
1940-2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise at the Timmins and District Hospital on June 18th, 2023, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Zimmer. Loving mother of Pam (Michael) Edwards, Nancy (John) der Weduwen and Randy Zimmer (Jill). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Danny Zimmer, Kimberly (Neville) Johnson, and David der Weduwen (Lindsay), as well as his children Brandon, Adelena and Lindsay’s daughter Arianna. Louise will be sadly missed by dear friends and sister Margaret Fenton and sister-in-law Fran Budden. She will also be missed by longtime friends Regina Burns and Claudette Linekar along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her son Daniel Zimmer, her siblings Norma Middleditch, Helen Prescador, Dorothy Green, Ron, Ken and Murray “Boyd” Budden.
Mom not only loved playing Bingo, darts and cards, but she was also very good at them. She always liked to up the ante and put a little money on the line to make things even more fun. She will forever remain in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Autism Ontario, or Timmins Extendicare would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted by Nancy at 166 Legion Dr., South Porcupine on July 22nd, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow.
