July 15th, 1951 – April 2nd, 2020
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Gerald on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 at the age of 68 at the Timmins and District Hospital. Beloved husband of Claire Thiffeault. Loving father of Diane Thiffeault (Louis Ouimette), Pierre (Brandy) Thiffeault, Julie (Clayton) Giroux. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Brianna, Jordan, and Mackena. Survived by his brothers Real (Helene), Remi (Line) and his sisters Rejeanne ( late Charlie) Gratton, Rita Carriere, and Suzanne (Claude Cayouette). Predeceased by his parents Euclide & Rosaline Thiffeault, his brothers Raymond (late Louise), Roger, Michel, his sister Georgette, and nephew Michel Jean. He will sadly be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Gerald loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Cremation has taken place as per his wishes. A private family service will be held at a later date.
