In Loving Memory of

Pina MacKay (née Sgro) passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home in Mississauga, Ontario, the morning of December 17th, 2019 after a courageous 4 year battle with brain cancer. Pina spent her last few days surrounded by her loving family, friends, and her loyal pets. She is survived by her loving husband Rob of 40 years, her son Sean MacKay(Chantal), her daughters Ann-Marie (Cliff) Trueman, Erin (Daniel) Burnell; and, her “precious granddaughters” Sophia Burnell and Cali-Pressly Trueman.

Pina also leaves behind her sisters Liz (Mickey) Fox, Katie (Tony) Sangiuliano, Toni (Dominic) Sangiuliano; and, sister-in-laws Angie (late Mike) Rochefort, and Donna (Larry) Cecchini. She will be sorely missed by numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Pina was predeceased by her parents Anna Maria and Vincenzo Sgro; and, by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary and Lorna MacKay.

Cremation has taken place as per Pina’s wishes and a Memorial Service was held. There will be a private burial service held at a later date.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lupus Canada will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
