Gladys MacMillan

Obituary

In Loving Memory of Gladys MacMillan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys MacMillan at Extendicare Timmins on May 31, 2022 at 74 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Daniel MacMillan. Loving mother of Bonnie MacMillan. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Amanda MacMillan (Pascal), Michael MacMillan, and her great grandchildren Jaxton and Kolton. Dear sister of the late Johnny Couture (Anita), Andy Couture (Mary), and Annabelle Hughes (Ellis). Also left to mourn are her numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Violet and Omar Couture.

Gladys grew up in Greenfield and made her way to Timmins with her dear husband where she was a devoted housewife. Gladys was passionate about baking and cooking and was known by many for her wonderful meals. Gladys cherished her family and valued time spent with those she loved. She was also known for her wit and causing a ruckus from time to time. Gladys sure did leave her mark. She was a woman of great strength and perseverance, even in her end of days. She will always be loved and will be sadly missed by many.

The family would like to thank the Dialysis staff at Timmins and District Hospital, as well as Dr.Malo who was her family doctor for many years and held a special place in her heart. We would also like to thank the staff at Extendicare Timmins and the Walford for the care she received.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N1H0 (705)235-2900 www.stinsonfuneralhome.net
