Graham Savord

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing at home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the age of 67, after a strong and courageous 2-year battle with cancer.

Predeceased by his precious daughter Amanda Faith, beautiful niece Melanie, father Graham Sr, mother-in-law Celia Mercier, sister-in-law Wendy Savord.

Graham is survived by his loving wife, Pamela, his mother Theresa Savord, sons, Aaron (Stacey) and Reilly (Sarah). His 3 beautiful granddaughters, Grace Amanda, Ashley Margaret, Aria Melanie Faith. His brother Terry and Nephew Eli (Dextra). Father-in-law John Mercier. Sister-in-laws Marcia (Besh) Siembida, Betty-Ann Mercier (Steve), Trisha.   Brother-in-laws, Jamie (Anita) Mercier and Chip Mercier and numerous nieces and nephews.

His family was his world and was so proud of his boys and loved spending time with his mom, brother, daughter-in-laws and granddaughters whom he adored.

He will be missed by his loving companion fur buddie Oaklie, who never left his side.

Graham spent many years in the trucking industry which was his passion.

His love was enjoying cottage life—which he would say “Life can’t get any better than this”.

The family would like to thank Dr. Vaithilingam and staff for their excellent care and compassion over the years.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Graham’s nurse Amy, who was our rock! The staff at Bayshore, Marnie, Nancy, Liz, Lynn and Nick. Your support and compassion will not be forgotten.

As per Graham’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday May 9 from 7pm to 9pm

In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations can be made to The Oncology Department at the TDH and the Northeast Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
