Jacqueline (Jackie) Fournier - Rupert (1960-2022)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of (Jackie) Jacqueline Fournier (Rupert) on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Jackie was the best friend and sweetheart for over 25 years of Russell Douglas Wakshinski.  Loving mother of Jodie Rupert cherished grandmother of Kane Rupert and Alexis Besner-Rupert.  Predeceased by her mother Ida Fournier (Bisson) and father Thomas Fournier. 

She will be deeply missed by her two sisters Lorraine Fournier from Montreal, Quebec, Denise Besner from Cornwall, Ontario and her two brother-in-law’s Michael Fournier and Richard Besner as well as her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Those wishing to make a donation are invited to contribute to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity of their choosing. 

There will be two (2) commemorative services:

The first of the two visitations will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, Ontario   P0N 1H0. Family will be present from 10:00 to 12:00 noon, small luncheon to follow. The second visitation will take place on Friday, May 27, 2022 at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall, Ontario   K6J 3R1. Family will be present from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A ceremony will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the Notre Dame Cemetery, 17945 South Branch Road, South Stormont, Ontario, K6H 0C8, small luncheon to follow.
