Joe Rumleski Obituary

In Loving Memory of

Joe Rumleski

1936-2022

The family announces with sorrow his death on May 27th, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary Rumleski of 65 years. Joe was predeceased by his parents Polly Prince & Joe Rumleski and by his brother Arthur. He leaves behind his sisters Doreen Quevillon, Evelyn Chapesky, his brother Lawrence (Irene) and by numerous nieces & nephews.

Joe worked in sales and service for PCO, Lowney’s and Standard Brands. He was also the owner of the Regal Motel at one time.

On Friday afternoons when Joe was the Lowney's Sales Rep the neighbourhood children would keep an eye out for Joe (The Candy Man) to arrive home, afterwards there would be a crowd of children gathered outside waiting for Joe to hand out bars of chocolates and other yummy candies to them.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Internment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date. Remembrance donations made to the Carlo Cattarello Arena will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N 1H0 (705) 235-2900 www.stinsonfuneralhome.net
