Judith Hamilton Obituary

HAMILTON, Judith Jane (nee Shulist) January 6, 1949 – December 30th, 2021.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family announces the sudden passing of “Judy” Hamilton at the age of 72 at the Timmins District Hospital.

Beloved wife of 55 years to William Hamilton, loving mother of Tracy Chapple (Brian) of Hamilton, Robert of Schumacher, and Bill.  Adoring grandmother to Nathan Chapple (Hailey), Brianna Chapple, Micheal and great granddaughter Piper.

Left behind to mourn are her sisters Barbara Burns (Robert) of Webbwood, Teri Duclos (Fred), her twin JoAnn Groulx (late Jack), Cathy Vaillancourt (Maurice “Moe”) all of Timmins, and Carole Lynne Boisvert (late Gerard) of Rougemount Quebec.  Brother in laws Albert (late Mavis), Quinton (Cindy), John (Karen) as well many nieces, nephews, cousins and their fur baby. Judy was predeceased by her parents Stan and Agnes (Johnstone) Shulist, her in laws Albert and Margaret (Pedigrew) Hamilton. Also by John and Saretta (Hamilton) Faubert, and Vince and Ann (Hamilton) Lubertino.

Judy was a Kidd Creek Metsite Retiree, and will be remembered for her cheerful disposition, her kind caring heart and welcoming smile. She will be greatly missed by her family members and many friends and neighbors.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the numerous nurses and doctors at the Timmins District Hospital for providing her with the care, compassion and dignity she deserved.

Respecting her wishes there will be no formal service.  Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Stinson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Timmins Humane Society, or the Timmins District Hospital Hospice Unit.
