In Loving Memory of Kevin John Irvine
September 11th, 1956 - March 30th, 2022
The family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of Kevin John Irvine on the 30th day of March 2022 at Timmins and District Hospital surrounded by his family. Kevin withstood a long and courageous fight with cancer but his hope and determination never wavered. He remained positive throughout despite the obstacles placed in his way. His fight is now over and he is at peace, forever remembered for his positive and loving spirit.
Beloved husband of Caroline and loving father to Tabitha, Kevin Kyle (Melissa), Cassandra (Samantha), Duncan (Sarah), and Amber-Lin (Reed). Cherished son of Donald and Luella. Devoted brother to Doris (Willis), Glenda (Raymond), Lorne (Joan), Don, Sherry, Roxy (Dave), Barry (Sharon), Patt, Richard, Joanne (Dave), Jill and Nora (Jim).
He also leaves behind his extended family including his brothers and sisters-in-law and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom he cherished deeply.
For those who knew him, Kevin dedicated his life to provide for his family as a miner. His work was something he took great pride in and one of his favourite past times is telling stories of those he worked closely with. Kevin was a devoted husband and father who endlessly boasted about how proud he was and how much he loved his wife and children. He placed family above all. Kevin’s roots are in New Brunswick, and he truly loved his hometown of Flatlands, and his final wish was to return home.
Remembrance donations will be graciously received through a Go Fund Me campaign to help the Irvine Family raise funds for his funeral expenses and return home. https://gofund.me/a4f34d51
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
