Leslie Lahaie Obituary

Lahaie, Leslie Giles

May 6, 1946 - August 3, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Leslie's passing at the age of 75.  He was comforted in his final days by his wife Juhonna, son Gil, and brother Guy. They were grateful to have had the chance to say their goodbyes. Les is predeceased by his parents Yvon and Edith, his sister Elaine, and daughter Diane.

He is survived by his loving wife Juhonna (Stewart), his children Gil (Gloria), Luke (Kelly-Ann), and Lisa (Tony).  Also survived by his grandchildren Terri-Lynn (Rodney), Juhonna (Joey), Spencer, Connor, and Remina. Les leaves behind his siblings Vince (late Jackie), Guy (Sandra), and Linda (Rob).

Les was born and raised in South Porcupine Ontario. Les was a hockey player and a millwright and was loved and feared by all who knew him. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, dogs, fishing for pickerel and hunting for partridge.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses, paramedics, and doctors for all their help and care. Juhonna would like to give a special thanks to the young nurse that shared wise words. She said with regards to following Les' wishes, "This is the last gift you can give your husband".  She will carry those words in her heart forever.
