It is with mixed emotions that the family announces the passing of Linda from life in mortality to life in eternity on Saturday, November 4th at the age of 80.  Linda loved freely, served tirelessly and brought joy to those who knew her best.

She is survived by her daughter Leslie Tinney, son Douglas and favourite son-in-law Greg, her grandchildren Shannon (Jason), Lindsay (Brandon) and Adam, her great-grandchildren Griffin, Carly, Ethyn, Maddox and Emily.

Linda is predeceased by her husband Lyle, her grandson Aaron, her parents Owen and Lovdey and her siblings Merle, Trudy, Jean, Norma, Owen, Donna and Gary.

We wish to express our fondest gratitude for those who made Linda comfortable in the Timmins and District Hospital.  A special thank you to the Hospice staff, who patiently answered questions, expressed kind words, and provided genuine compassion to Linda and the family.

At Linda's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral.  Family and loved ones will gather for a luncheon to remember Linda's influence and share memories on Saturday November 18th at 1:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 500 Toke Street, Timmins.
