Marc Lemaire

 Majella “Marc” Lemaire    

 June 26, 1937 to January 24, 2022

The family announces with sorrow the passing of Majella Lemaire. He was born and raised in Calumet Island Quebec. A life in mining took him from Calumet Island to Bancroft, Sudbury, Pickle Lake and finally Sussex NB. He will be dearly missed by his children Marc (Lina), Joanne (Ken) and Pierre, grandchildren Natalie (Steph), Julie (Eric), Christine (Jeremy), Lynn (Lee), Dan (Becky), Edward (Sophie) and Hannah, and great grandchildren Nick, Alex, Ellabelle, Hazel, Olivia, Austin, Darren, Zachary, Dylan and Miley. He also leaves behind brothers Sylvio (Pauline) and Remi (Joyce) and sisters Suzanne and Paulette (Gerald), numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 He was pre-deceased by his first wife and mother of their children, Viviane in 1983 and his second wife Jean in 2019, by his parents Aldora and François, by brothers Gaëtan and Joe and sisters Viviane and Lucie.

We would like to thank the staff at the Falconbridge Extendicare in Sudbury as well as the staff at the Timmins Extendicare for all of their wonderful care and kindness. Also a very special thank you to Monica and Val, your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
