The family announces with sorrow the passing of Marcel on June 3rd, 2022, at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Loving father of Laurie (Dan) Dewar of Garrick, Sk, Dean of Yellowknife, NT and Donna (Michel Le Sann) of Ottawa, ON. Grandfather of Kim, Jenna, Margo, Austin, Phrasie (Maude), Michael, and Terrence.
Beloved husband of the late Monica Mandeville (2008).
Cherished brother of Patricia Mandeville of Kapuskasing, Maurice Mandeville of Sudbury, Robert Mandeville of BC, Gaston-Guy Mandeville (Marion) of Kingston, Alex Cande of Timmins, Laurette Richard of Timmins, Lisette Mandeville of Sault Ste. Marie, Micheal Mandeville of Vancouver, Rachelle Snider (John) of Cambridge, and sister Lissa Brunet of Toronto.
Marcel was predeceased by his parents Roger Mandeville (1987) and Antoinette Mongeon (1995), and his siblings' (triplets), Pierre, Roger, and Louis (1943), twins Paulette Mandeville (2018), and Pierette (late Donald 2022) Jette in 2018, Marie Jeanne Mandeville in 1952, Carole Mandeville (1959), Gaetane Mandeville (1968) and Hermaise Mandeville (2013). Marcel was born in South Porcupine; he was one of 21 children born to Antoinette and Roger Mandeville. He spent much of this life in Yellowknife, NT where we worked in for many years as a hard rock Gold miner. As per his wishes cremation has taken place, and he will be interred in White Fox, Saskatchewan with a small graveside ceremony with immediate family.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
