Mary-Ann Middleton Obituary

In Loving Memory of

Mary-Ann Middleton

The family announces with great sadness the peaceful and unexpected passing of Mary-Ann Middleton on March 9th, 2024, at the young age of 66. Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, and a friend to many.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Paul Middleton, her siblings, in-laws, and friends. Left to mourn are her siblings Danina Moretti of Timmins, Ontario, Helena (Jim) Kilborn of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Edward (Nicole) Gasior of Timmins, Ontario, Sandra (late Harvey) Engley of Timmins, Ontario, Zigmund (Bonnie) Gasior of Hoyle, Ontario.

Also left to mourn are her in-laws Goldie (Brenda) Middleton of Hartfield, New Brunswick, Jim (Joanne) Middleton of Windsor, Ontario, Chuck (Kathi) Middleton of Calgary, Alberta, Sandra (Mark) Albanese of Las Salle, Manitoba, and Shirley Watkins (née Middleton) of Campbell River, British Columbia.

Predeceased by her parents Walter Gasior & Martha (née Wagner) Gasior, father-in-law & mother-in-law Buck & Claire (née Sweeney) Middleton, and sister-in-law Sharon Middleton.

Although she had no children of her own, she was like a mom to many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her years of service at Clark’s Men’s Wear and Porcupine Pro-Hardware.

Mary-Ann will always be remembered for her witty sense of humor, laughter, pleasant and cheerful personality, welcoming the Middleton family as her own, the introduction of Polish water to us, and her awesome perogies and cabbage rolls. Mary-Ann was always there for anyone who needed to talk or wanted to play a game. You would always see her out in her yard tending to her garden or trimming her well-manicured hedge.

As per Mary-Ann's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 16th, 2024, at 1pm at her niece Shelly’s place in Porcupine, Ontario. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Timmins and District Humane Society will be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N 1H0 (705)235-2900
