Peeken Jacqueline

The family announces with great sadness the death of Mrs. Jacqueline Peeken (Laporte) at the age of 83 at the Timmins Hospice Care Centre on October 1, 2017, one day before her 84th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Robert Peeken (2010). Cherished mother of Robert Jr. (Pauline), Gary and Debbie. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer (Brian) Danyliw, Shelly Peeken (Edward Hilton), Amanda, Natasha, Keisha and Isabella. Jacqueline is survived by her brother Gerald Laporte and several nieces. She was predeceased by her sisters Teresa Longpre, Rita Lavoie, Jeanette Sather, Florence Laporte, Yvonne Schmidhuber and her brothers Rolland Laporte and Bobby Laporte. She will be missed by her dear friends, whom she cherished very deeply. A special thank you to Dr. Schwertfeger, Dr. Toupin, Dr. Vaithilingham and the special nurses at the Timmins Hospice Care Centre for all their loving care and support during this very difficult time. Donations to Timmins Hospice Care Centre will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 P.M on Friday October 6th, 2017 at Stinson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Friday October 6th, 2017 at Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, (705)235-2900.
