1929-2022
In memory of Phil Engberg who passed away on Thursday, March 10th, 2022. Born at Bourkes ON, and moved to Timmins in 1936. Survived by his wife Florence (née McQuatt), his Children, Wende (Stephen) Price of South Porcupine, Lorie Engberg of Orillia, and Rick Engberg. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Ryan Price (Liz) & Jamie Price and Meaghan Gray. Brother of Chris (Martha) of Oshawa, and Gerald (late Denise) of Hanmer. Brother-in-law of Linda (Peter) Jenkin of Timmins, Floyd (Sylvia) of Guelph, Ron (late Denise) of Timmins and late Shirley. Predeceased by his parents Nils and Lucie Engberg, his parents-in-law, Noble and Edith McQuatt.
Phil was a very talented man in the different trades and worked in many different capacities during his life, however the last 16 working years he was a machinist for Kidd Creek Mines Concentrator Dept. Enjoyed his cottage. As requested cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at St. Andrews Cemetery, Watsons Corners (Dalhousie Twp.) Lanark County.
Thank you for all of the exceptional care from La Salle staff, L.I.N., and the outstanding doctors and nurses at the Timmins and District Hospital who went above and beyond in Dad’s care.
