Raymond Didine

It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on January 31st, 2020 at the Timmins and District Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (née Adams). Loving father of Douglas Didine, Cheryl Janiuk, and the late Robert Didine.  Proud Poppa of Garin, Kyler, and Chason Janiuk.  Dear brother of the late Maurice Didine and  brother-in-law of Doug (Leah) Adams. He was predeceased by his parents Jules & Marie Didine. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours who were his extended family.

Ray was a quiet man who took joy in the simple things. He loved his children and his grandsons, who now have two angels watching over them.  He enjoyed spending time with them and hearing all their adventures and stories.  For several years his peaceful place was the cottage where he enjoyed the outdoors and had many found memories.  

As per Raymond’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at a later date.

A special thank you to Dr. DiTullio and the nurses of Medical C who treated Dad with compassion and dignity during his long stay in hospital.  To the nurses in Hospice, Chrissy and Anu, thank you for your caring and understanding during this difficult time.
