Roger Marc Valliere
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Roger after a valiant fight with cancer at the Timmins and District Hospital on May 26th, 2021 at the age of 53.
Loving father of his twins Amanda Valliere, and Christopher Valliere both of Cornwall, ON. Dear grandfather of Liam & Amelia. Cherished son of Lise Guindon (late Brad Skinner) of Opasatika, ON, and of Marcel Valliere (Christine Burroughs) of Kapuskasing, ON. Cherished brother of Sylvie Valliere Barner (Fred),Julie Valliere, Adam Swanson and David Swanson. Beloved uncle of Stéphanie, Shannon, Shawna, Daniel ( Isabelle), Marcel and, great-uncle of Michael, Samuel, Zachary and Mystelle. He will be sorely missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Roger was predeceased by his grandparents Jacques & Rita (née Chevrier) Guindon and Robert & Angel (née Savoie) Valliere and by his aunts Carole Guindon and Rolande Valliere.
Enjoyed being in the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman & hunter. He also loved scuba diving.
Roger took pleasure in helping those less fortunate and often talked about helping at community kitchens. Donations to your local foodbank would therefore be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place as per Roger’s wishes. Due to covid-19 a celebration of Life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
