Wade Walker Obituary

In Loving Memory of

R. Wade Walker

Jun. 29, 1959 – May 24, 2021

The family announces with sorrow the sudden death of Mr. Wade Walker at home. He is survived his brother Blair (Kayla) and niece Isabella of Kleinburg. He is predeceased by his parents Ron in 2012 and Grace in 2004 and sadly missed by in-laws and numerous cousins.

Wade was a kind hearted man and although Wade liked solitude and his circle of friends was small, he loved a good conversation and his favorite topics were current events, politics and sports.

Wade was a seasonal worker for the City of Timmins, up until 2013, part of the crew that maintained the highways in winter. He was also a part time bookkeeper, up until the time of his sudden death.

Wade was born in Matheson and raised in Porcupine and was a graduate of Northern College’s Business Accounting Diploma program. He loved the north and was a fervent fisherman. He was an avid fan of Toronto sports teams, and after he relocated to the Toronto area in 2014, he had a chance to watch his favourite teams at the Scotiabank Arena, Coca-Cola Coliseum and Rogers Centre.

Wade was laid to rest in the Whitney Cemetery, on May 27, 2021, in a plot immediately east of his parents. Burial arrangements were managed by the Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Ave, South Porcupine.
