Beloved husband of Sandra Bresson (née Charette). Loving father of Brent Bresson of North Bay, Cory (Nikki) Bresson of Georgina, and Crystal Bresson of South Porcupine, and devoted papa to his granddaughters Noa Bresson & Mae Bresson of Georgina. Cherished brother of Angeline (Richard) Green of Petawawa, Denis (Patricia) Lafreniere of Pembroke, Keith (Gaya) Lafreniere of Pembroke and sister-in law June Brisson (late Raymond Brisson). Wayne was predeceased by his parents Rose (née Lair) & George Lafreniere, and by his brothers Jimmy Lafreniere, Ronald Brisson, and Raymond Brisson.
It is with heavy hearts we must say goodbye to a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was admired and respected by all who crossed his path. Wayne left us after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, where even in the end, he held his family close. Wayne loved to hunt, fish and camp. He worked at Pamour Mine for nearly three decades and within the mining industry in northern Ontario until he fell ill. Wayne adored his family, wife, three children and two granddaughters - Noa and Mae- who were the apples of his eye. He will be missed dearly, and we will forever hold him in our hearts.
The family thanks the Sudbury Cancer Centre, Drs. Cohen and Armstrong, as well as the nursing staff of the Timmins and District Hospital Respiratory Care Unit.
