In Loving Memory of
WILLIAM (BILL) ALLEN VERITSKY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Allen Veritsky on July 29, 2021, just one week short of his 95th Birthday. “Bill”, as he was known to his family, was born in Dugwal, Ontario on August 6th, 1926. He resided in South Porcupine Ontario his whole life except for his years studying at Brigham Young University in Utah where he received a diploma in business. On his return home, he acquired a job with Bupont Motors in Timmins as their accountant and became a valued, lifelong employee because of his dedication and thorough work ethic. Bill was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Timmins and after his retirement became a Stake Clerk in his mid 70’s, auditing 9 meeting houses throughout Northern Ontario for 10 years. Bill was very concerned about his health and studied natural healing practices and fasting. He was an astute learner and worked on his computer daily right up to the week before his death. He was always dressed professionally in a suit, white shirt and hat wherever he went. Bill is predeceased by his parents, Jennie and Joseph, sister Ann and brother Eugene. Bill will be missed but not forgotten by his many first cousins Julie Slight (Markovitch), Marilyn Mckay (Markiewicz), Brenda Torresan (Markiewicz), Colleen Lea (Moffat), Mercedes Moffat, Jane Conlon, Catherine Alexander (Conlon), Aunt Kay Markiewicz, and his large church family. Bill was the last living Veritsky family member. Burial Service for Bill will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N1H0 (705)235-2900
